The Gauss Research Foundation has created a Research Institute to stimulate the development of research in Puerto Rico. Among the activities to be undertaken are:

1. Gauss Research Foundation was an sponsor of the XXV SIDIM held in Mayaguez. http://math.uprm.edu/sidimxxv/

2. The Gauss Research Foundation presented an award to Dr. Bollman and Dr. Caceres for their continued support in Research in Puerto Rico for the past twenty years.
