Our organization collaborates in association with other researchers from the University of Puerto Rico’s Mayagüez Campus (Computer Engineering Doctorate Program), the University of Puerto Rico’s Public Administration Graduate Schol with the advising and contribution of Dr. Medina Villalba, the Computer Engineering Program from the Polytechnical University of Puerto Rico, the West Indies University and the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (Dominican Republic). We have also collaborated with educational entities such as the Cyber Clinic of the University of Puerto Rico’s School of Law and Creative Commons of Puerto Rico.

For instance, as part of our continuous activities developed as consequence of our involvement with the International Internet Community, one of our researchers, Ana Teresa Rodriguez, wrote her master’s thesis on Electronic Government in Puerto Rico.

Basic Research

We also have Basic Research with the leadership of Dr. Oscar Moreno and Dr. Dorthy Bollman and their extensive and foregoing experience in research in fundamental areas such as Science and Technology, GRF is able to contribute to the formation and support of the Caribbean’s Information Society.

We also collaborate with organizations such as Alfa-Redi which an organization dedicated to research and Project development as well as consultancy for public and civil society and the generation of dialogue spaces meant for sharing the knowledge of different experts from the Latin American region and Worldwide. We have collaborated with them in events such as the VII World Congress of Computer Law held in Puerto Rico in December 2007.
